Stellar Photonics, LLC was formed as a laser and optics applications research and development company in 2001. Its initial research effort was in the area of Laser Induced Plasma (LIP) optimization and other Directed Energy (DE) fields and Stellar Photonics has received contracts from both the U.S. Army’s Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) and the Marine’s Joint Non-Lethal Weapons Directorate (JNLWD) through NTIC at the University of New Hampshire and has developed a variety of less-than-lethal directed energy weapon systems.
